This webinar was recorded August 22, 2022 and provides an overview of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Title II: Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (WIOA, Title II: AEFLA) 2023–27 application and process. Start or Continue WIOA Application

Applicants notified by the CDE that they have passed the Eligibility Screening are invited to apply online for AEFLA funding using the web-based application. Eligible individual providers and consortia must submit all relevant forms, responses to considerations 1 through 12, and the projected enrollment table online on or before 5:00 p.m. on December 15, 2022.

Single Agency

To start or continue your WIOA Application, enter the Superintendent/College President/Chief Executive Officer email entered in the Applicant Eligibility Information into the Email textbox. Next, enter the PIN number that was issued to you during the Applicant Eligibility Information. Then click Continue. If you are eligible, then you will be allowed to proceed.

Consortium/Coalition

Applicants may only submit one application and must determine which member agency will act as the lead agency for the group. This chosen agency is known as the Fiscal Agent. To start or continue your WIOA Application, enter the Superintendent/College President/Chief Executive Officer email entered in the Applicant Eligibility Information into the Email textbox for the Fiscal Agent. Next, enter the PIN number that was issued to the Fiscal Agent during the Applicant Eligibility Information. Then click Continue. If you are eligible, then you will be allowed to proceed.

Note: All agencies applying as a consortium/coalition must reside within the boundaries of one of the 71 regional community college district service areas established under the California Adult Education Program (CAEP). Only one consortium/coalition per district is permitted.
